G-Board is a Kanban board from G-Tools. The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Tasks sit as cards in columns (preset: Open, In progress, Waiting, Done) and are moved by dragging. You can use G-Board in the browser at gtools.me/board, free and without an account (everything then stays in your browser), or with your G-Tools account: then the browser and the app sync, and the cards also work in the app without a connection.
In browser and app:
- Create, rename, move and delete columns
- Cards with title, label, due date, note and checklist; mark cards as done
- Cards sync between browser and app through your G-Tools account
Additionally in the browser:
- Several boards, search, moving cards by dragging, duplicating and moving cards to another board
- Cards with an assignee and comments
- Share cards with colleagues or hand them over (colleagues with their own G-Tools account) and set a reminder on a card
- Import from MeisterTask
- Deleted cards stay for 60 days under “Recently deleted”

Signing in: The app needs a G-Tools account. I create new accounts myself: just send me an email. You can sign in with email address and password or, if set up for your account, with Microsoft.
Do I need an account?
Not in the browser: without an account your board stays saved in your browser. For the app and for syncing between devices you need a G-Tools account.
The app says “Please open the board once on gtools.me/board”
Your board is still in the older format. Open it once in the browser at gtools.me/board and sign in there with the same G-Tools account. After that you can change it in the app as usual. (The app message is in German.)
I deleted a card. Can I get it back?
In the browser, deleted cards stay for 60 days under “Recently deleted” and can be restored there. After that they are gone for good.
How do I delete my account or my G-Board data?
In the app or here on the web under Delete account (German only). To protect against misuse you always confirm the deletion with a link I send you by email. Nothing happens without a click on that link.
What data G-Board processes is described in the privacy policy (section “App G-Board”; the policy is available in German only). In short: in the browser without an account your board stays in your browser; with a G-Tools account your board data is stored on the G-Tools server.
